Little Ivy Academy offers Bilingual Immersion Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K programs for our families. We are a Licensed Childcare with a curriculum designed to balance academic learning, self-exploration, and development. The uniquely designed curriculum expands our students' minds by integrating language immersion into fun and engaging age-specific activities in a safe and nurturing environment where we celebrate cultural diversity. Our mission is to provide the highest quality and customized early childhood education for our students.

 

Based on the theme-centered learning strategy, our environment is designed to promote exploration, adventure, and imaginative play and learning. We believe that children are active participants in their learning. That’s why we encourage them to ask questions and explore the world around them. Our program focuses not only on Mandarin Chinese language immersion but also on cultural immersion. We believe by identifying and integrating the cultural knowledge, and the varied learning and participation styles of students, we can make learning more effective.

 

The English and Chinese Immersion bilingual program is for children 1 to 6 years old and is designed for both those who already know the language and those who do not yet understand or speak Mandarin Chinese or English. Children at an early age can acquire the language and all aspects of one's culture and environment without effort or fatigue. The Chinese English bilingual environment surrounding our activities leads the children to a place where they can develop a functional use of Mandarin Chinese while practicing early childhood educational concepts.
